Berry specializes in the application of infectious disease testing for the clinical diagnosis of disease and patient management. He has also held previous appointments as an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Director of the Division of Infectious Disease Diagnostics at Northwell Health.ĭr. Berry is currently an Associate Professor of Pathology and Cell Biology in the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Co-Director of the Clinical Microbiology Service, and Associate Director of the Center for Advanced Laboratory Medicine (CALM) at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. in Microbiology and Immunology from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Medical and Public Health Microbiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Berry is board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Medical Microbiology.
